Bigg Boss Telugu 5 title winner VJ Sunny is ready with 'Sound Party'. Full Moon Media Productions has released the film's entertaining teaser dominated by the male lead and 'Amrutham' fame Shivannarayana.
Director Sanjay Sheri has cast the Sunny-Shivannarayana duo (as a father and a son) as loafing drunkards who daydream a lot. The characters come with quirks and they don't feel bad about others thinking of them as good for nothing. For a film that was completed in 28 working days, 'Sound Party' comes with resounding quality.
Senior director Sampath Nandi attended the movie's teaser launch event on Thursday. Speaking on the occasion, he likened the vibes of the film to those of the 2021 blockbuster 'Jathi Ratnalu'. He also described presenter V Jaya Shankar as a man of books.
Producer Ravi Polishetty said that the movie will be released sometime in September. His banner, Full Moon Media Productions, is also planning to make new-age movies at a stretch in the coming years.
V Jaya Shankar said that composer Mohith Rahmaniac's music will be one of the biggest highlights. He also thanked Sampath Nandi for always extending his support to him. He made a reference to the comedy styles adopted by Jandhyala and EVV Satyanarayana in the past.
Shivannarayana expressed his happiness over the role of a middle-aged 'jathi ratnam' being written with him in mind.
VJ Sunny thanked the director for bringing out a quality laugh-riot. The actor's role has been crafted to deliver entertainment and fun. He gets to share screen space with many senior artists.
Ali, Saptagiri, '30 Years' Prudhviraj, 'Mirchi' Priya, Manik Reddy, Ashok Kumar, Kadambari Kiran, Gemini Suresh, and others will also be seen. Srinivas Reddy has done the cinematography.
Ravi Polishetty, Mahendra Gajendra, and Sri Shyam Gajendra have jointly bankrolled the movie.
