'MAD' is the title of an upcoming college campus comedy from Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas. The two banners, known for working with big stars like Pawan Kalyan in the past, are now making an out-and-out youthful entertainer headlined by newcomer Narne Nithin, budding comedy actor Sangeeth Shoban, and Ram Nithin.
If Narne is Jr NTR's brother-in-law, Sangeeth has previously done web series like 'Oka Chinna Family Story'. He is now trying his hand at the big screen. The three male leads will be seen in rom-com scenes with three female artists (Sri Gouri Priya Reddy, Ananthika Sanilkumar and Gopikaa Udyan).
The film's teaser suggests that the ragging culture and the rivalries on the campus of a bustling Engineering college are the key themes of the Kalyan Shankar directorial. Gen Z humour, jokes that spare none and 'bet matches' can be expected in this boisterous comedy.
Producer China Babu's daughter Haarika Suryadevara is making her debut as a producer. In an old interview, her brother Suryadevara Naga Vamsi said that she will prove her mettle as a producer in the coming years. Sai Soujanya, Trivikram's wife, is the other producer.
'DJ Tillu' fame Muralidhar Goud and 'Taxiwala' fame Oi Vishnu are back. Navin Nooli, the most-preferred Editor of Sithara Entertainments, is working on the movie. 'Dhamaka' fame Bheems Ceciroleo is setting the songs to tune.
