The High Court of Andhra Pradesh has reportedly served a notice to the creators of the upcoming Ravi Teja-starrer 'Tiger Nageswara Rao'. The notice has been slapped over a Public Interest Litigation that was filed recently following the release of the film's high-voltage teaser.
The petitioner alleged that the teaser and the film intend to hurt the sentiments of the residents of Stuartpuram and a particular community. The HC has now asked the Chairperson of the CBFC, who is based in Mumbai, to be made an ex-party to the PIL.
The court objected to the unveiling of the teaser without the CBFC's prior consent. Reportedly, Justice Dhanarjane called for a sense of responsibility.
Starring Anupam Kher as an IB officer, Gayatri Bharadwaj and Nupur Sanon as the heroines, the film has Renu Desai in a key role. Srikanth Vissa and GV Prakash Kumar are taking care of dialogue and music, respectively. R Madhie is the cinematographer.
The film will hit the cinemas on October 20.
