Payal Rajput, who made her Telugu debut with 'RX 100' in 2018, was recently seen in 'Mangalavaaram'. Despite portraying an unconventional role in the film, she hasn't received the recognition she deserves, primarily due to the movie's lukewarm performance at the box office. Payal is optimistic that her portrayal will be appreciated by the audience once 'Mangalvaaram' is available on OTT platforms.
In the meantime, the actress is making headlines for openly expressing her desire to audition for a role in the prequel to 'Kantara'. "I am keen on being part of this outstanding film. Kindly consider me for an audition," Payal wrote, addressing the makers. The prequel is titled 'Kantara: A Legend - Chapter 1'.
In a rare occurrence, an actress with a fairly reasonable filmography, including projects with Venkatesh and Ravi Teja, has openly sought an audition from a production house. The movie in question is being produced by Hombale Films, with Rishab Shetty at the helm as the director.
