A few days after the song 'Etthukelli Povaalanipisthunde' was released, Srinivasaa Silver Screen today dropped another update related to 'Naa Saami Ranga'. On Thursday, the makers revealed that Allari Naresh's character in the movie is named Anji. We see him wear a lungi and a checkered shirt with a vest inside. His intro glimpse will be out on Friday at 10:18 AM.
Naresh got to do this film at a time when he was looking for serious stuff. Seen in 'Ugram' this May, the actor recently said, "When I was doing parodies/spoofs, I used to dislike myself. Imitation is not acting. I have to be genuine and original. Doing spoofs is like doing mimicry." Although 'Naa Saami Ranga' has him in a light-veined role (apparently), it won't be a spoof-y one. The 'Maharshi' and 'Naandhi' actor will share screen space with Nag in the movie.
Starring Akkineni Nagarjuna in the lead, the movie also features Ashika Ranganath and Raj Tarun. Produced by Srinivasaa Chitturi, the film features Karuna Kumar in a negative role. MM Keeravani is its music director.
'Naa Saami Ranga' is a Sankranthi 2024 release.
