Surprisingly, the Thaman composition has been named after a popular social media trend. An old man from Hyderabad, who has been abandoned by his children, was interviewed by a YouTube channel earlier this year. Narrating an incident involving his wife's relative, the old man said, "My wife ran away to her parents' place without informing me. I went to her place and forced her to come with me. When a relative of hers interjected himself, I folded a chair and banged him with it, breaking his neck." The video went viral owing to the old man's style of narration.
The title of the latest song from Trivikram Srinivas' directorial draws from that video.
'Guntur Kaaram' will hit the cinemas on January 12, 2024.
