Variance Films is planning to bank on the new-found popularity of 'RRR'. Ahead of the Oscar event on March 12, the distribution company has announced the Rajamouli directorial's re-release.
The film, starring Jr NTR and Ram Charan, will arrive at the cinemas in North America on March 3. So far, 200 screens have been finalized.
"Let the CelebRRRation begin! S.S. Rajamouli's masterpiece #RRRMovie is roaring back to over 200 theaters nationwide starting March 3rd (sic)," Variance Films tweeted.
On March 1, a promotional event will be held in the US to talk about the re-release. It seems the makers are expecting to mint a few lakh dollars. Who would not want to capitalize on a Golden Globe Award and an Oscar nom?
