Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is leaving no stone unturned to make 'Jawan' and 'Dunki' the most profitable ventures. The former is directed by Atlee. The latter is directed by Rajkumar Hirani.
As per a trade report, the non-theatrical rights for the two movies are valued at about Rs 480 Cr. Non-theatrical revenue that 'Jawan' has generated stands at Rs 250 Cr (including its Telugu and Tamil versions). On the other hand, the revenue for 'Dunki' stands at Rs 230 Cr. By non-theatrical revenue, digital, satellite and music rights are what the trade report means.
Recently, T-Series acquired Jawan's music rights by shelling out an astronomical Rs 36 Cr. It is not a surprise that satellite and digital rights have fetched more than Rs 200 Cr. 'Jawan', co-starring Nayanthara, will hit the cinemas on September 7.
'Dunki', on the other hand, might not hit the cinemas this year.
