Nani's film with 'Sita Ramam' fame Mrunal Thakur has been titled 'Hi Nanna' in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada. In Hindi, the title is 'Hi Papa'. The film's title reveal gimpse comes with an unexpected twist towards the end.
The setting is Goa. Mrunal Thakur is introduced as a little girl as Yashna. We see the 'Shyam Singha Roy' actor pursue his passion, which is undisclosed for now. Just when we think the little girl (supposed to be the hero's daughter) is going to play a Cupid between her father and Yashna, there comes the twist: the heroine calls Nani 'Nanna'.
Debutant director Shouryuv and producers Mohan Cherukuri (CVM) and Dr Vijender Reddy Teegala announced that the film will head to the theatres on December 21. Vyra Entertainments has roped in Sanu John Varughese (cinematography), Praveen Anthony (editing), and Jothish Shankar (production design). Mollywood's Hesham Abdul Wahab is going to set the songs to tune. Sheetal Sharma is the costume designer.
The film also features Shruti Haasan and Viraj Ashwin in small roles. The little girl is played by Kiara Khanna.
