'Slumdog Husband' is all set to hit the cinemas on July 21. On Thursday, its fun-filled trailer was unveiled digitally by Nandamuri Kalyanram.
We see Lacchi (Sanjay Rao) deeply in love with his girlfriend (Pranavi Manukonda). Owing to a loophole in his horoscope, he must first get married to a dog for his marital life to be smooth. He marries a dog in the neighborhood but when he wants to marry his girlfriend, he faces a court battle. Animal rights activists and other stakeholders challenge his decision to marry when his first 'wife' is still alive. In an awkward turn of events, they expect him to pay alimony of Rs 20 lakh.
Director Dr. AR Sreedhar (also the film's story, screenplay and lyric writer) tells a mindless comedy here. Produced by Appi Reddy and Venkat Annapareddy, the comedy entertainer has Brahmaji and Saptagiri as lawyers. Chammak Chandra, Raghu Karumanchi, Yadamma Raju, and others are part of the cast.
Srinivas J Reddy (cinematography) and Vaishnav Vasu (editing) are handling important departments. The music is done by Bheems Ceciroleo. Art Direction is by Suresh Redrouthu.
