'Ee Ammayi (EMI)' is the title of an upcoming crime entertainer starring Noel, Bhanushree, Dhanraj and others. Set to hit the cinemas on March 10, its trailer was yesterday released by Sri Avadutha Venkayya Swami Productions.
Speaking about the movie, the makers said that they have been through a lot of struggles from the time they launched the project. The pandemic added to the challenges. Finally, 'Ee Ammayi (EMI)' is ready.
Director Donthu Ramesh said that he hails from a small village in the West Godavari district. "My father, who is a farmer, supported me in my dreams. Burra Prashanth garu and 'East West' Rajeev garu helped us a great deal in the journey of our movie," he added.
Bhanushree said, "This story is relatable. EMI is something everyone from a middle-class person to a rich person pays. When the director narrated this story, I fell in love with it."
Noel said, "This film wouldn't have existed but for the whole-hearted support of a father to help his son realize his dream of becoming a filmmaker. Heroine Bhanu is a hard worker."
Produced by Donthu Ramesh and helmed by Donthu Ramesh, the film has music by Ravi Shankar. Bharathi and Arun have sung the rap vocals.
