'Karkasham', produced by GNR Film Factory, is coming in the direction of GNR. Its First Look was launched at an event on Monday in the presence of the President of the Telugu Producers Council Damodara Prasad, among others.
Speaking on the occasion, director GNR said that he has previously worked as an assistant director under MS Raju, the producer of films like 'Okkadu' and 'Nuvvosthanante Nenoddantana'. "I became a director after gaining experience under my guru. I wrote 'Karkasham' based on a real incident that happened in Telangana a few years ago. The film conveys the message that everyone has a responsibility to stand up against atrocities against female children and women in our society. This is a socially-aware movie shot on a highway. Securing permission to shoot the movie on a highway was not easy," the director said.
Also starring Premalatha, Bhumi Reddy Venkat, Chaitra, Srinivas, Battula Gopal, and Kalavathi, the film has lyrics written by Lakshmi Sriram. The dialogues and music are by the director himself.
