'Prabhutva Junior Kalasala', an upcoming youthful drama, admittedly narrates true incidents. Directed by Srinath Pulakuram, the film is gearing up for a theatrical release. Its first look was released on Monday. Produced by Bhuvan Reddy Kovvuri of Black And White Pictures, the commercial film has music by Saravana Vasudevan. With cinematography by Nikhil Surendran, the film is co-directed by Vamsi Udayagiri. Narrating a love story between Intermediate students, the film is headlined by Pranav Singampalli, Shagna Sri Venus, Ram Patas, Teja Goud, and Bombay Padma.
Speaking at the event today, guests and the makers said that the movie is content-oriented with tuneful songs to boot.
Heroine Shagna Sri Venus said, "I thank the director and producer for giving me this opportunity. I was lucky to be selected for this role. Since the story is set in the backdrop of the Chittoor district, the director took a lot of care in speaking that slang. Pranav is a very good actor. His cooperation is unforgettable."
Hero Pranav said, "The makers gave me the opportunity to play the hero in this film after watching some YouTube videos I had made. I am very happy that my launch as a hero is with this content-driven movie. There is a story that will take you back to college days."
Producer Bhuvan Reddy Kovvuri thanked Minister Malla Reddy for doing the honour of releasing the first glimpse. "My journey with director Srinath started with the movie 'Krishna Rao Supermarket'. He is such a passionate director," he said, adding that the film has got an amazing love story.
The film's director said, "Even though the budget was five times more than what we had estimated, the producer did not back down and that's why we were able to make our film in such quality today."
