The Telugu Cinema Labour Day was marked by the Telangana State Film and Television Theatre Development Corporation on Monday. Chairman Anil Kurmachalam was present on the occasion. Film Chamber of Commerce President Basi Reddy, Kashi Vishwanath, N Shankar, Chadalavada Srinivasa Rao, C Kalyan, Damodara Prasad, Prasanna Kumar, Tummalpalli Ramasatyanarayana and others were also present.
Megastar Chiranjeevi's video message was played on the occasion.
Lyricist Chandrabose was feted on the occasion. Cinematographer KK Senthilkumar, Art Director Sabu Cyril, and stunt master King Solomon were also felicitated.
President Anil Kumar Vallabhaneni, Secretary PSN Dora, and Treasurer V Suresh of the Film Federation took oaths on the occasion.
The Film Chamber handed over the recently increased wage agreements to the film workers as a homage to the spirit of May Day. Federation President Anil Kumar Vallabhaneni thanked the film industry reps on the occasion, adding that the welfare of 25 thousand film workers in the industry is his responsibility.
FDC Chairman Anil Kurmachalam said that the government always stands by the film industry.
