A song titled 'Dil Kush' from 'Selfish' was unveiled at an event on Monday. Ashish and Ivana star as the film's lead pair. The song, sung by Javed Ali, has lyrics penned by Ramajogayya Sastry. Mickey J Meyer is its composer.
Speaking at the song launch event, Dil Raju thanked director Sukumar (who is producing 'Selfish' on Sukumar Writings along with Dil Raju's banner). "The idea 'Selfish' came about when 'Rowdy Boy' was still being shot. With his debut movie, Ashish got good marks. Mickey gave a good tune for 'Dil Kush'. The lyrics are amazing. Hindi lyrics were also needed, as the story takes place in the backdrop of the old city of Hyderabad. Anup Rubens has done two songs," Dil Raju said.
Ashish said that it is a great pleasure that his song was launched on his birthday. "I and director Vishal Kasi worked very hard for 'Selfish'. The shoot is still on. Yuvraj's cinematography is amazing," he added. The second-time hero suggested that 'Selfish' is a very important film for him.
