The trailer for 'Adipurush' begins with Lord Hanuman narrating the timeless tale of Raghava, played by Prabhas. The titular character gets to speak only a few words, but his Maryada Purushottama spirit courses through the 200-second trailer.
Presented by Gulshan Kumar and T-Series, the epic 3D mythological is produced by T-Series Films and Retrophiles. The trailer ends with Saif Ali Khan's Ravana unleashing his megalomaniacal fury. Kriti Sanon, as Sita, mouths an effective line. Sunny Singh as Lakshmana should have gotten a more impactful presence.
The trailer is way better than the film's teaser in terms of VFX and character looks. While Prabhas' fans would have wanted to see more of their favourite actor, the epic battle between Good and Evil needs to possess force for the film to work.
Produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Om Raut, Prasad Sutar, and Rajesh Nair, the film will be released in theatres on June 16 in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam.
