At the teaser launch event of 'Mem Famous, the makers said that nearly three dozen newcomers have been introduced through the film, whose trailer will be out on May 17. The rural entertainer hits the cinemas on May 26.
Speaking on the occasion, producer Sharath Chandra said that the final output of the youthful film is highly satisfying. "It is a pleasure to launch new people under Chai Bisket and Lahari Films. If you watch this movie, you will know the energy of newbies. In 2012, Anurag and I started our journey. We started a marketing agency called First Show; we marketed about 100 movies. In 2016, we floated Chai Bisket and did YouTube content. We have made more than 1,500 pieces of YouTube content. We did a web series. I assure you everyone will have fun after watching our movie. Geeta Arts is releasing 'Mem Famous in the Telugu States. It will be released overseas by Sarigama Cinemas. In Vizag, Annapurna Studios is releasing it," the producer added.
Producer Anurag Reddy said, "I came into the industry with nothing. I am working with those who have nothing. Sumanth Prabhas, who started out as a TikToker at the age of 18, became a director at the age of 23. This is a movie made by youth."
Chandru Manohar of Lahari Films said that they are proud to introduce so many newcomers through 'Mem Famous'.
Writer and director Sumanth Prabhas said that Chai Bisket was established to become a support system for newcomers. He thanked the daring producers on the occasion. He thanked the celebrities (like Vijay Deverakonda, Naga Chaitanya and Harish Shankar) who have participated in the movie's promotions. He added that all the newcomers were selected because they completely fit the bill. He described the film's nine songs as energetic.
Music director Kalyan Nayak said that he was given an opportunity by Chai Bisket after 'Writer Padmabhushan'. "Each character in the movie will feel like a family member," he added.
Actor Maurya Chowdary said that the director selected him after an audition. "Everyone has been very supportive. We are going to do hulchul this May 26," he said.
Mani Aegurla, Saarya and others are part of the cast.
