On Sunday night, a rumour emerged that Prashanth Neel's 'Salaar' will not hit the cinemas on September 28. Rumour-mongers claimed that the film will instead be released in theatres for Sankranthi 2024. That triggered an upset among Prabhas' fans.
However, Hombale Films was quick to dismiss the rumour. "Disregard any unfounded rumors suggesting a delay — rest assured, the release date remains unchanged. Get ready for an unforgettable cinematic experience," the team said in a statement.
In other words, 'Salaar' is very much slated to hit the cinemas on September 28, 2023.
Starring Shruti Haasan as the heroine and Jagapathi Babu, Prithviraj Sukumaran and others in key roles, the Prashanth Neel directorial is a pan-India flick.
