On Monday, marking Jr NTR's birthday, Mythri Movie Makers and NTR Arts stated that the Tarak-Prashanth Neel film will go on the floors in August, 2024. Yes, 2024. Not 2025.
The update was unexpected. It was presumed that the film would go on the floors only in the last quarter of 2025 or so.
'Salaar 2' is scheduled to commence its shoot soon, either with or without the participation of Prabhas in the first schedule. In spite of the rumour that the film has been kept on hold, Hombale Films and director Neel are unwilling to drag it on.
In all likelihood, Neel is going to pull off the impossible: he will be handling two pan-Indian films with two big stars simultaneously. If he succeeds in that, it will be legendary for sure in today's circumstances.
It will be good news if Neel wraps up the two projects fast. Both Prabhas and Tarak will be available for other projects.
