LV Gangadhara Sastry's love for the holy Bhagavad Gita is no secret. Devout people have learned about the essence of the Gita by listening to him. Sastry, who is also a singer and religious preacher, is related to Tollywoo's prominent PRO LV Venu Gopal as a brother. His Bhagavadgita Foundation has been relentless in pursuit of its selfless work for the past 17 years.
The news is that Sastry is going to be conferred an honorary doctorate soon. The Madhya Pradesh-based Maharshi Panini Sanskrit Evam Vedic University will be honoring him with a doctorate in recognition of his tireless work to propagate the spiritual depth of the Gita. As someone who holds the Bharatiya wisdom in high esteem, Sastry is well deserving of the recognition. The University’s Vice Chancellor, Acharya CG Vijay Kumar, has mentioned the spiritual exponent's contribution.
Sastry has composed 700 slokas of the Gita into a musical form in Telugu. Thanks to the aid of high-end technology, the quality of the album is top-notch.
The respected singer will be there in Vikram Kirti Mandir, Ujjain to receive the doctorate. “I take this opportunity to thank Madhya Pradesh’s governor Mangubhai C. Patel, the University’s Vice Chancellor Vijay Kumar CG, CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Education Minister Mohan Yadav," said Sastry, dedicating the doctorate to his wife, children, gurus, and patrons of the Gita across the globe.
Senior BJP leader P Muralidhar Rao has been instrumental in recognizing Sastry's work.
