'Adipurush' will have a high-profile public event in Tirupathi on June 6. On Monday, a new song from the movie was released.
'Ram Sita Ram' is its title. Described as the soul of the divine drama, the song begins with a pious conversation between the titular character (Prabhas) and his wife Janaki (Kriti Sanon). "You are a princess. You are supposed to live in the comfort of the palace," Lord Ram is heard telling his wife, who wants to be with him in exile. The song is a fusion between devotion and a wife's loyalty.
Rendered by Karthik, Sachet Tandon, and Parampara Tandon, the lyrics have been penned by Ramajogayya Sastry. Composed by Sachet-Parampara, the song's tune is drawn from an old tune.
The pan-India project, directed by Om Raut, will hit the cinemas on June 16. Its run-time is 2 hours and 54 minutes.
