On Tuesday, a rumour went out that Varun Tej and Lavanya Tripathi's wedding will be streamed on Netflix. A section of the media even speculated that the rights were sold for a whopping Rs 8 Cr to the streaming giant by the groom and his bride.
The news is absolutely fake. The Mega hero himself issued a clarification, refuting the news as totally untrue. "The ongoing speculations around the OTT rights are completely baseless and untrue. Requesting everyone not to believe in such rumours and spread them," the 'Ghani' actor's camp said.
The wedding was held in Italy. Many fans, Telugu movie buffs and others believed that they would get to see the likes of Chiranjeevi, Pawan Kalyan, Allu Arjun and Ram Charan in their natural state of fun and frolic. But the streaming rights news has proven to be false.
The duo recently hosted a wedding reception in Hyderabad.
