Later, deepfake videos featuring Kajol and Katrina Kaif surfaced on the Internet.
On Monday, another heroine fell prey to the misuse of AI technology. Alia Bhatt's deepfake video has been circulating widely on social media. In the video, we see the 'Gangubhai Kathiawadi' sensation's face transposed onto a young girl making suggestive gestures while wearing panties.
The video of the 'RRR' actress has been going viral.
At this rate, there could be a joint representation by the different film industries in the country to stem the tide. Swift investigation and action against the perpetrators can help prevent future instances of a similar nature.
