The pre-release event of 'MAD' was a star-studded event that saw the presence of 'Sita Ramam' hero Dulquer Salmaan, 'Tillu Square' hero Siddhu Jonnalagadda, and actress Sree Leela as chief guests. The film hits the cinemas on October 6.
Speaking on the occasion, Dulquer Salmaan said that the trailer for 'MAD' is fun and exciting. "Although the three lead pairs are relatively new, they don't look like they are new. I loved Bheems Ceciroleo's songs for this movie. This October 6th, we are in for a mad blockbuster," the 'Mahanati' actor said.
Sree Leela said that she is glad Anudeep KV, the director of 'Jathi Ratnalu', is part of 'MAD'. She greeted the six lead actors of the movie. "I was told 'MAD' has been made with young actors. I wondered if they are younger than me because I am considered the youngest," the 'Dhamaka' actress quipped.
Siddhu was seen actively encouraging 'MAD', which is incidentally produced by the makers of his 'DJ Tillu' - Sithara Entertainments.
'SIR' director Venky Atluri said that he is betting on Ram Nithin, Narne Nithin and Sangeeth Shoban among the newcomers who have debuted in recent years.
Sangeeth Shoban, who is one of the lead actors, expressed his admiration for Dulquer, saying that the Mollywood star hero has previously graced the pre-release event of Santosh Shoban's 'Anni Manchi Sakunamule' earlier this year and has done so for his movie's event now.
Narne Nithin said that working on 'MAD' didn't feel like a job. He thanked the director for always maintaining everyone's spirits and enthusiasm high.
Ram Nithin thanked cinematographers Shamdat and Dinesh. He also said that Bheems' music for 'MAD' has enhanced the movie's standards.
Director Kalyan Shankar thanked producer Haarika Suryadevara for being a pillar of support from day one on the sets of the film. "This is a wonderful film that has brought together a young pool of talents," he added.
