'MAD', produced by Sithara Entertainments in association with Fortune Four Cinemas, opened to excellent premieres on Thursday (October 5). The film's success meet was held in Hyderabad on Monday.
Speaking on the occasion, stunt master Karuna Kumar said that Sangeeth's body language in a clumsy fight on the college campus was amazing. "Narne Nithin insisted on shooting for a fight without a rope. We used one to ensure safety. The shot was okayed in a single take," he said.
Debutante producer Haarika Suryadevara gave her first speech. She thanked the audience as well as the media.
Art director Ram Kumar said that Kalyan Shankar's narration left him in no doubt that the film would be a sure-fire hit. Ravi Anthony is the name of the artist who plays a small character named Anthony. He thanked the makers for the opportunity.
Sri Gouri Priya Reddy said that the film was shot in an atmosphere where everyone was in perfect sync. "I thank the way the film is being treated now. I thank everyone who supported this," she said, thanking her co-stars. Gopikaa Udyan said that she enjoyed being part of the one-year journey.
Music director Bheems Ceciroleo said, "Director Kalyan has put his heart and soul into the story. He put a lot of effort into preparing it." Comedian Vishnu Oi, who is seen as Laddu in the film, said that crowds in theatres are enjoying 'MAD' like crazy.
Director Kalyan Shankar lauded his 'Jathi Ratnalu' colleague and fellow director Anudeep KV, adding that the 2021 film was superior.
Producer S Naga Vamsi described the effort of his editor Naveen Nooli as commendable. "He has been with the script all through -- discussing with Chinna Babu garu. He has been with us like a writer all through the film from pre-production to post-production," the Sithara Entertainments supremo added.
Ram Nithin profusely thanked the film lovers out there for pouring out overwhelming responses and feedback for the campus comedy. Sangeeth Shoban said that the response has been three times better than what he had expected. Narne Nithin revealed that his 'bava', Jr NTR, loved the film. "Both my brother-in-law and my sister liked 'MAD'. Their kids were excited to see me on the screen," he added.
