Malayalam-Tamil artist Vinayakan became popular among the Tamil and Telugu audience after the release of Rajinikanth's 'Jailer' in August. The video clip from the movie in which he is seen dancing to 'Taal se taal mila' went viral on social media. The buzz is that several Telugu directors approached him for negative roles after the release of the Nelson-directed action entertainer.
The news is that Vinayakan has been arrested by the Kochi police. As per a news agency report, he allegedly caused a commotion at the Ernakulam Town North police station on Tuesday evening. This was preceded by him allegedly creating an issue at the residential apartment where he stays.
After his arrest, he was taken to a hospital to conduct a mandatory medical examination.
Vinayakan, who began his career as a dancer, will be seen in Vikram's 'Dhruva Natchathiram' soon. The action thriller is directed by Gautham Menon.
