'Jawan' is set to register extraordinary openings on the first weekend. On its release date tomorrow (September 7), the action entertainer will log massive openings in Hindi and very good openings in Telugu and Tamil. In his social media post on Wednesday, Mahesh Babu acknowledged the "frenzy" surrounding the Atlee directorial. He wished that the movie would turn out to be an all-time industry hit.
"It's time for 'Jawan'!!! The frenzy and power of SRK are on full display!! Wishing the team an all-time blockbuster success across all markets! So looking forward to watching it with the entire family!! (sic)," the 'Sarkaru Vaari Paata' actor wrote.
'Jawan', co-starring Vijay Sethupathi and Nayanthara, is produced by SRK's banner.
The film, whose music is by Anirudh, is expected to sell more than five lakh tickets in PVR, Inox and Cinepolis for Day 1 (the final number will become clear by the end of today). That will make it one of the biggest openings ever in the history of Indian cinema.
