As was reported in August, Mohan Babu is producing a magnum opus. Titled 'Kannappa – A True Epic Indian Tale', the film is touted to be an epic-scale pan-India movie featuring "distinguished" artists from across the country. Vishnu Manchu and Nupur Sanon will be essaying key roles in it.
The news is that Prabhas has been roped in for a cameo. The same has been confirmed by a source close to Manchu Vishnu.
The 'Salaar' actor was inspired by his uncle Krishnam Raju's 'Bhaktha Kannappa' to become an actor. It is fitting that he is doing a cameo in a film telling the story of the great devotee.
With the pan-India star hero doing the film, the project is sure to acquire national-level buzz. The devotional flick, to be made with grand VFX, is going to be released in multiple languages.
Directed by Mukesh Kumar Singh, the film is written by Paruchuri Gopala Krishna and Burra Sai Madhav. Thota Prasad and Thotapalli Sainath have also worked on the script.
