The songs in Shankar's movies are usually top-notch. No wonder the audience expect the songs from 'Game Changer' to be mind-blowing, especially given it is a pan-India film starring Ram Charan.
On Friday night, a song from the movie surfaced on the Internet. Thaman's composition is poor in terms of tuning. It is as if the song belongs to a 'Vinaya Vidheya Rama'. The lyrics don't befit the quality and creativity expected of a Shankar movie.
Reacting to the leak and the trolling by Netizens, Dil Raju's aide observed that the leaked song is a very basic version. "Please refain from spreading it and forming opinions based on it. The singers are also basic track singers and not final. A very inferior copy of the final copy," he wrote.
A fan page dedicated to Ram Charan opined much the same. "The leaked song is a simplified composition, and it’s important not to circulate it or making opinions based on this version. The singers, lyrics, mixing featured are preliminary and don’t reflect the final copy’s quality," the handle stated.
