The phrase 'Made In India' has always had a special ring. And that's the title of SS Rajamouli's next pan-Indian flick as a presenter. Months after presenting the southern Indian versions of the Bollywood film 'Brahmastra', the 'RRR' maker today announced a new presentation. The film will be a biopic about the father of Indian cinema. In other words, it will be a biopic of Indian cinema itself. Rajamouli's son SS Karthikeya is going to be one of its producers. He has launched a banner named Showing Business.
"When I first heard the narration, it moved me emotionally like nothing else. Making a biopic is tough in itself, but conceiving one about the FATHER OF INDIAN CINEMA is even more challenging. Our boys are ready and up for it.. With immense pride, Presenting MADE IN INDIA," Rajamouli today tweeted, making the project official. Varun Gupta of Max Studios will be its primary producer.
Interestingly, the announcement video and poster mention Marathi first before other languages. The film will also be released in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada.
Directed by Nitin Kakkar, the film's cast and crew details are yet to be made official.
