Many felt that it was made at the wrong time when the mood of the Bollywood audience was to watch patriotic action movies, spy thrillers and Tollywood-style masala genre movies.
In his latest interview, the 'Dangal' actor said that he was heartbroken when the film flopped at the box office. He blamed himself for the result. "I took my performance to a high pitch and couldn’t hold it together throughout the film. It was my shortcoming as a performer, and I won’t repeat it in the next film," the Bollywood superstar said.
