Earlier this week, Bharat Bhushan was elected the president of the Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce. He has resolved to undertake new initiatives for the well-being of Tollywood.
The news is that Bhushan has called on Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy as a courtesy call. He also used the opportunity to impress upon the CM regarding the industry's expectations from the government.
Importantly, the topic of the proposed Gaddar Awards was also discussed. The state awards will make their debut in December this year. In this regard, Megastar Chiranjeevi recently appealed to the TFPC to reach out to the government.
After the meeting, the President sincerely thanked the CM for giving him the opportunity to meet him despite his busy schedule. "I am glad to inform you all that the Chief Minister is amenable to helping the industry," Bhushan added.
On the occasion, Revanth Reddy said that a meeting will be organized with the representatives of the Telugu film industry soon after his return from the US. He assured the Hyderabad-based industry of all the possible support that it requires.
