Producer TG Vishwa Prasad of People Media Factory is associated with biggies like 'Adipurush' (Telugu version), 'BRO', 'The Raja Saab' and many more. It has been rumoured that he has incurred losses to the tune of Rs 100 Cr on three films: Gopichand's 'Rama Banam', Ravi Teja's 'Eagle', and Sharwanand's 'Manamey'.
In his latest interview, the prolific producer addressed the rumour. He said that 'Rama Banam' did make losses but the quantum was "not unbearable". He didn't reveal a specific number.
As for 'Eagle', it was more of an unexpected setback. The producer was counting on lucrative OTT deals, which didn't come through.
As for 'Manamey', the producer said, he has been cheated by a "third party". Since the truth is on his side, the producer is confident that he will be able to get his due from the third party in due course of time. "The quantum of money that is stuck is slightly above my acceptable threshold," Vishwa Prasad added.
TG Vishwa Prasad awaits the release of 'Mr. Bachchan' on August 15. The Ravi Teja-Harish Shankar movie will have grand premieres in the Telugu States on the evening of August 14.
