The buzz in the town is that there is going to be 'Pushpa 3'. It might be titled 'Pushpa: The Roar'.
'Pushpa 2' has been in the making for more than two years. The film's release date is August 15, 2024. Allu Arjun's fans know the box-office potential of the pan-Indian movie. Yet, they are unhappy about Bunny being drawn into 'Pushpa 3'.
Sukumar is notorious for delays. If 'Pushpa 2' becomes a blockbuster, he will feel privileged to make 'Pushpa 3' over three years. If the Icon Star does that movie exclusively for three years, his filmography will look far less dense. Already, he didn't have a single release in 2022 and 20233.
Bunny's fans are hoping that 'Pushpa 3' happens after their favourite actor does at least two movies with others. One of them is going to be with Boyapati Srinu. The other one could be with Atlee.
The pros of 'Pushpa 3' are quite a few. Bunny can expect humongous openings for that movie, whenever it hits the cinemas. But Sukumar and Bunny will feel encouraged to do the third part only if 'Pushpa 2' makes something like Rs 800 Cr or so. If it makes Rs 400 Cr, they might not be motivated.
