Mollywood star hero Mammootty's 'Bramayugam' is a horror-thriller. Produced by Chakravarthy Ramachandra of Night Shift Studios, the film is up for release.
The Malayalam version will be released in theatres on February 15.
The Telugu, Hindi, Kannada and Tamil versions will be released later. "There is a popular demand from the audiences to experience the original version first. The creators too believe that the audience is likely to appreciate the film in its original version," a source says.
The trailer for the movie was unveiled in Abu Dhabi recently.
Set in a bygone era in Kerala, the multi-lingual is coming from writer-director Rahul Sadasivan. Also produced by S Sashikanth of YNOT Studios, the film will have music by Christo Xavier. The production design is by Jothish Shankar and the editing is by Shafique Mohammed Ali.
Arjun Ashokan, Sidharth Bharathan and Amalda Liz are playing important roles.
