Aha Video, owned by Geetha Arts and My Home Group, is on sale. Business media reports have said that Sony Pictures Networks India is in discussions with Arha Media & Broadcasting.
If everything goes well, selling a 26% stake in Aha will fetch its promoters as much as Rs 1,500 Cr.
It is not just Sony but also Sun Group that is interested in buying the regional OTT platform. "Arha Media is also talking to Sun TV for a similar stake sale, persons in the know said. It is learnt that KPMG Corporate Finance is advising Arha Media on the strategic stake sale," a report put out by Financial Express said.
