Gopichand's 31st film is titled 'Bhimaa'. Producer KK Radhamohan of Sri Sathya Sai Arts and director A Harsha of Sandalwood have joined hands and are bringing this action entertainer to theatres on February 16 this year.
On Friday, a loud teaser was released by the makers. We hear a 'sloka' from the Gita being recited at the top of the voice-over artist's vocal cords. The entire stretch is an old-fashioned, cliched build-up to the introduction of the hero. Gopichand, playing a ferocious cop, bursts forth onto the screen with a relish. He looks more like a cut-out rather than a person.
A prayer is that the film's sonic palette is redesigned by the time it hits the cinemas. This level of loudness is too hard to handle!
Kollywood actress Priya Bhavani Shankar has been roped in as the main female lead. She is joined by Malvika Sharma (of 'Nela Ticket' and 'Red' fame) to play the other female lead. The action entertainer has cinematography by Swamy J Gowda. With music by Ravi Basrur of the recent 'Salaar', its production design and dialogues are by Ramana Vanka and Ajju Mahankali, respectively.
Nassar, VK Naresh, Poorna, Vennela Kishore, Raghu Babu, Mukesh Tiwari and others are playing different roles.
