K Niranjan Reddy was catapulted to fame by his Sankranthi blockbuster 'HanuMan' six months ago. He is currently producing at least three medium-range movies.
The producer has roped in actor Nithiin for a movie to be helmed by Vikram K Kumar of 'Manam' and '24' fame. This will be Vikram's second movie with Nithiin after 'Ishq'.
Second, the producer is also making a film with Sai Dharam Tej. It will be directed by KP Rohit, a newcomer.
Third, Niranjan Reddy is also doing 'Darling', starring Priyadarshi and Nabha Natesh in the lead. The film will be released in theatres later this month.
'HanuMan' was produced at a budget of more than Rs 70 Cr. Its pre-release theatrical business was just Rs 20 Cr. Later on, it became a blockbuster. "We have seen limited superhero movies like 'Krish' but we have nothing rivalling American superhero movies. That thought made director Prasanth Varma come up with a film revolving around Lord Hanuman's stature. My collaboration with Varma's future movies will continue if he continues the association," he said in an interview.
