Bunny Vas of GA2 Pictures comes from the Geetha Arts compound. He revealed that Allu Aravind had made a conscious decision to avoid producing big-budget movies after the pandemic for 3-4 years.
"After the release of 'Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo', the industry was shut down due to the pandemic. Aravind garu's suggestion was that we should avoid bankrolling big-scale movies for a while. We have analyzed what kind of films work and what kind of films don't for the past three years. Now that the test period is over, Geetha Arts is coming up with big-budget movies all over again. 'Thandel' has been made at a budget of Rs 75 Cr," Bunny Vas said.
'Thandel', starring Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi, is a pan-Indian movie directed by Chandoo Mondeti and scheduled to hit the cinemas on December 20. Allu Aravind is going to ensure a large-scale release in Hindi as well.
