'Pindam', which was released in theatres last year, was produced by debutant Yeshwanth Daggumati on Kalaahi Media. The film has had a good run at award ceremonies.
The news is that the new producer has been nominatd at the SIIMA 2024 event. Producer Yeshwanth has been nominated in the ‘Debutant Producer’ category. It is a fitting win for the producer, who braved all odds to seal the film's pre-release business deals. The film starred Sriram, Easwari Rao, Ravi Varma, Srinivas Avasarala, Sriram, Kushee Ravi and others.
Yeshwanth owns IT companies in the US. "When I wanted to produce a movie, I and my friend Saikiran moved to India. Whether it is running an IT company or making a movie as a producer, it is about dealing with people and getting things done. Filmmaking is not easy even if you have Rs 1000 Cr with you. A lot of things have to fall into place. A film is the result of hundreds of people coming together," he said in an interview in December last year.
Yeshwanth Daggumati has plans to make many more movies in the coming years.
