'Simbaa', starring Jagapathi Babu, Anasuya Bharadwaj, Gowtami and Vasista Simha in lead roles, will hit the cinemas on August 9. Its Trailer launch event was held on Wednesday.
Anasuya said the film is about the ideal of Vruksho Rakshathi Rakshitah. 'Simbaa' talks about the relevance of the message in today's times, when cities have become unlivable due to deleterious levels of pollution. She also lauded her co-stars, especially Jagapathi Babu.
Director Murali Manohar said that Sampath Nandi's story and screenplay are superb. "I got an excellent technical team. All of them have given excellent output. Our movie is coming on August 9. It is a supernatural crime thriller with a never-seen-before concept," he added.
Producer Dasari Rajender Reddy said, "I really liked the point made by Sampath Nandi. Jagapathi Babu liked the story and came on board immediately. Anasuya has been very busy with a lot of assignments. Despite the challenges we faced, we could complete the project successfully. Krishna Saurabh provided the music and brought the theme to life. Every character is like a hero in this film, which will appeal to all sections of the audience."
Actress Divi Vadthya of Bigg Boss Telugu fame said that 'Simbaa' brings to life a solid message. "Thanks to the director and producers for giving me a chance in such a good film," she added.
Actor Vasista Simha said, "We have been told since childhood to plant saplings and grow trees, but it's not being done. I am glad to see a movie with such a useful message. I am proud to have acted in this film. It has a good message and concept."
Music director Krishna Saurabh said that the film is going to be novel and interesting. "Films with a well-meaning concept are rare to come by. I am happy to be a part of this film," he added.
Cinematographer Krishna Prasad thanked Sampath Nandi and others for giving him the opportunity. "Instead of us talking about this film, it would be better for the audience to experience it for themselves," he added.
The Trailer for 'Simbaa' has been a hit. Also featuring Srinath Maganti, Anish Kuruvilla, and Kabir Singh, the film is also produced by Sampath Nandi.
