Rana Daggubati has reportedly bagged a Bollywood film headlined by Shahid Kapoor. In the untitled film, which is currently in the pre-production phase, the 'Baahubali' actor will be playing Aurangazeb. The period film is set in the times of the Maratha king Shivaji but is not based on the life of Shivaji per se.
In November last year, Rana teamed up with producers Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni of Arka Media Works for a film to be produced by a newcomer. He was also roped in for Rajinikanth's 170th movie, directed by TJ Gnanavel of 'Jai Bhim' fame. The film is titled 'Vettaiyan' and might hit the cinemas on October 10 this year.
Last year, Rana presented the film 'Keedaa Colaa'. He is going to host a talk show for the streaming giant, Amazon Prime Video. He is also going to do the second and third seasons of 'Rana Naidu' for Netflix. His hands are full these days!
