Looks like Pocket FM, the audio entertainment folks, are throwing some shade at Disney+ Hotstar over the latter's new web series 'Yakshini' (starring Vedhika, Ajay, Lakshmi Manchu, Rahul Vijay and others). They are crying copyright infringement in the Delhi High Court, claiming the show rips off their own audio series of the same name. Not only that, they want the court to whack the OTT platform with a temporary restraining order and yank the show's trailer.
'Yakshini', directed by Teja Marni and produced by Arka Media Works of 'Baahubali' fame, is going to be streamed in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, Hindi, Bengali, and Marathi from June 14 if the restraining order doesn't come through.
