Looks like Varun Tej is the most audacious hero out there. He scored mega-flops in the form of 'Ghani', 'Gandeevadhari Arjuna' and 'Operation Valentine'. None of the three films helped him achieve what he had set out for. 'Ghani' was supposed to make him an action hero had it been done well. 'GA' and 'OV' would have helped him become a classy action star. But their poor content was unfathomably bad.
The 'Fidaa' actor is now teaming up with a one-time flop director. Vikram Sirikonda, who tasted a disaster in the form of Ravi Teja's 'Touch Chesi Chudu' six years ago, is going to wield the megaphone.
It's a calculated gamble that Varun is playing. Maybe, he liked the storyline and his characterization. Maybe, it is the banner (Mythri Movie Makers).
The actor is currently doing 'Matka'. Starring Meenakshi Chaudhary and Nora Fatehi in key roles, the film is directed by Karuna Kumar.
