Sirish Bharadwaj, who married Chiranjeevi's daughter Srija way back in 2007 and divorced her in 2014, is no more. He died today in Hyderabad following a terminal lung-related illness.
He was 22 when he married the 19-year-old Srija in 2007. The son of a High Court advocate, he remarried a doctor a few years after Srija divorced him. It is said that he also started a software company, which floundered.
In 2017, Sirish seriously considered jumping into politics. At that time, he made a serious attempt to secure a BJP ticket from Telangana. He even secured an appointment with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
In 2003 or so, when he was still a minor, Sirish was accused of kidnapping a girl. He was also briefly arrested. Since he was a minor, he was let off with a warning by the police.
Srija, after parting ways with Sirish, married her old classmate, Kalyan. The duo got divorced recently.
