The talk of the town is that Akhil Akkineni will be essaying the role of a tribal person who fiercely protects his land in his upcoming movie, which is yet to be given a name. The to-be-shot film will be directed by a newcomer named Anil Kumar and produced by the Vamsi-Pramod duo on UV Creations.
It is also learned that the film is going to be have a reincarnation element in the second half. Akhil has been asked to grow a flowing hair and a very messy beard as part of the preparation for this unconventional role.
The character will be one-of-its-kind for Akhil. He was seen in classy, urbane avatars in his previous movies.
