Santhosh Narayanan (also referred to as SaNa) has spoken something specific about his score for his latest movie, 'Kalki 2898 AD'. In a chit-chat with a portal, the 'Kabali' and 'Kaala' composer said that he has scored for the Mahabharata portions in the Prabhas-starrer with the intention of paying a rich tribute to the landmark works of the Rajamouli-Keeravani duo. He particularly referred to Ram Charan's 'Magadheera' and the 'Baahubali' duology.
The film is slated to hit the cinemas on June 27. Ahead of the release, SaNa's words give a ray of hope to those who have come to the conclusion that the songs in the movie are lukewarm.
The film, directed by Nag Ashwin, is poised to gross Rs 180 Cr on Day 1. A dystopian epic action drama, it stars Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone and Kamal Haasan in key roles.
