'Puli Meka' is currently streaming on ZEE5. The Telugu-language web series is written and created by Kona Venkat. The streaming platform hosted an event to celebrate its release on Friday.
Speaking on the occasion, Lavanya Tripathi thanked Kona Venkat for offering her the whodunit. She described Aadi Saikumar's performance as subtle. While Lavanya is an IPS officer in the series, Aadi is a forensic expert.
Aadi said that everyone who has watched 'Puli Meka' is giving him only positive feedback. "My relatives living abroad have watched the series and are praising it. I latched on to the project because I loved the story and my characterization. Siri Hanmanth also acted well. Raja Chembolu and Noel Sean have been so good. There is no vulgarity in the show," he added.
Kona Venkat described the 8-episode series as a blockbuster, which has been eliciting positive feedback from the US, UK and other countries like Germany.
Producer Sushmita Konidela, who recently made 'Sridevi Sobhan Babu', attended the event as a guest. "Kona garu is a brilliant story-teller. If he is the showrunner, there was never any doubt that the show was going to be fab. It is a good development to see new-age concepts on OTT," she opined.
YouTuber Siri Hanmanth played a key part in the series. She said that she can't thank Kona Venkat enough. She was roped in after the writer watched her behavior in Bigg Boss Telugu.
The event was also attended by 'Kushi' director Siva Nirvana, writer-director BVS Ravi, Srihan, Noel Sean, and others.
