Actor O Yeong-su hails from South Korea. Not many know that he has been fighting a sexual harassment case. But his defence proved to be nothing. The actor from the first season of the blockbuster Netflix series 'Squid Game' has now been convicted. His age is 79.
As per international media reports, the celebrity has been handed a suspended prison sentence. He will be locked up in prison for eight months. And he will be suspended for two years.
The convict will have to participate in a sexual violence treatment programme for a period of 40 hours stretched over 90 days.
The news has shocked the fans of the Netflix series. "I have been a fan of Yeong-su. His affable personality and screen presence are unmatched. He will be missed. He would have become an aged superstar but for the case," a dejected fanboi wrote on Twitter.
