Tamil actor Daniel Balaji is known to the Telugu audience thanks to some of his films made by Tollywood. The news is that he is no more. The talented artist suffered a cardiac arrest on Friday night. He was just 48.
Known for acclaimed performance in noted Tamil films like 'Vettaiyaadu Vilayaadu' and 'Vada Chennai', Balaji also acted in a role in Nani's OTT release 'Tuck Jagadish'. 'Gharshana' and 'Chirutha' are also among his very few Telugu movies. Condolences are pouring in from the Tamil film industry.
As per Chennai-based reports, Balaji had complained of chest pain. He was rushed to a hospital, which is where he breathed his last. The hospital was informed by Balaji's relatives about his wish for organ donation post his death. He had donated his eyes.
It was Balaji's wish to see a temple come up in Avadi. He was funding it with his money. He didn't remain to see his wish fulfilled.
